In order to ensure the orderly progress of all the work in the new semester, on the morning of February 24, the School of Business Administration held the first faculty meeting in Yingfu building. Dean Yuchen Hu gave the“first class”on the faculty work of the whole school. School leaders and all faculty members of the school attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Vice Presidents Haibo Hu, Yanfen Zou, Xin Jin, Liangping Wu, and Vice Secretary Haiyan Zhou respectively deployed and put forward work requirements for teaching, scientific research, graduate student affairs, employment, class teacher work and other work at the beginning of the term.
Wende Huang, Secretary of the Party committee of the Academy, emphasized the upcoming recruitment fair in spring 2019, Entrepreneurship Forum and the 40th anniversary of the founding of the school. He pointed out that the new semester has begun, and all work should be planned and started as early as possible, so as to lay a solid foundation for the smooth development of all work in 2019.
On the basis of a brief summary, Professor Yuchen Hu, the dean of the school, deployed the key work of the new semester and gave a lecture entitled enterprise management reform in the era of wisdom. He made a profound introduction from four aspects: management has entered the era of wisdom, new power of enterprise empowerment in the era of wisdom, business changes in the era of wisdom, and new paradigm in the era of wisdom. He also pointed out that cloud computing, mobile Internet, big data, artificial intelligence, Internet of things technology and other technologies have given new impetus to the development of enterprises. In this era, the market competition pattern, consumer demand, marketing channels, customer interaction mode and operation mode have changed dramatically. Only by realizing intelligent connection, social sharing and ecological coordination can enterprise management better adapt to the society and the future. The purpose of this theme lecture is to put forward new requirements for all teachers and encourage all teachers to make unremitting efforts to cultivate management talents in the new era and constantly improve themselves. Professor Yuchen Hu's sharing caused a heated discussion among the teachers present. Professor Haibo Hu, vice president, said: “what Professor Yuchen Hu said this time touched me a lot. The future has come and will come. The core of the wisdom era is the past informatization and the present data. And educating people lies in self-education. I hope that new thinking will become a new driving force. All the members should present their achievements as gifts to the 40th anniversary of the founding of the school. ”
The meeting marks the beginning of the new semester, further clarifying new goals, firming new directions and achieving new achievements. In 2019, the school will take the 40th anniversary of the school’s founding as a new starting point and opportunity to open a new journey, write a new chapter, and make unremitting efforts to build a first-class business school in China!
