In order to welcome the new class of 2019 to join the family of the School of Business Administration, provide a platform for the freshmen to show their talents and self-demonstration, and at the same time create a good academic style of the school, and stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning, on the evening of November 30th, the School of Business Administration held an orientation party at the auditorium in Mailu Campus.
First of all, Deputy Dean Yanfen Zou gave an opening speech. She welcomes the new class of 2019 to join the business community. She pointed out that 2019 is a special year, not only for the 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, but also for the 40th anniversary of the School of Business Administration. Zou said that the style of study is the soul and the foundation of the university’s development, and students are the main force of it. Therefore, our school hosted this orientation party for mobilizing students' academic style, hoping to motivate all teachers and students to fundamentally establish the college's excellent learning atmosphere and create greater glories.
During the orientation party, students provided excellent and wonderful performances, including melodrama, shadow dance, fluorescent dance, crosstalk, sketches, chorus, etc. The school also carried out different awards such as national scholarships, Kerui scholarships, Dinghan scholarships, Jiangxi International Corporation scholarships and others. These awards have planted a positive seed in the hearts of the freshmen, giving the students continuous motivation.
At the end of this orientation party, Wende Huang gave a closing speech. He pointed out that the country is currently in a great era and a happy era, therefore, business students must be more aggressive and move forward. He made four suggestions to everyone: first, love the country, always walk with the party, and strive for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation; second, learn more from alumni, use university time to study well, and enrich yourself; third, to face the problem squarely, foster a good style of study; Fourth, abide by school rules and discipline, plan your future as soon as possible, develop good habits, and maintain physical and mental health.
The welcoming party was a complete success with the joint efforts of all teachers and students of the School of Business Administration. It demonstrated the youthful vitality and style of business students, and also reflected the college's expectations for freshmen.
