Mr. Chongwei Wang, Doctoral candidate at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and parti-time research member of the ResearchCenter for Innovation and Strategic Human Resource Management at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, gave a training program on “Emotion Regulation” in four and half hours to around 40 middle managers of eLong.com. The training session covered topics such as the key concepts of emotion, emotional intelligence, emotion regulation, and misattribution. Given the importance of emotion regulation in service industry, this training is designed to help enhance both the service quality and employee wellbeing.
On the following morning, Mr. Wang reported results based on the data collected at the firm. Mr. Gary Ding, Vice President of Operations of eLong.com, attended the report with top management teams from Beijing and Hefei (AnhuiProvince).
