    Invited by the Research Center for Innovation and Strategic Human Resource Management (ISHRM), Professor Sun Jianmin, vice president of the Science Department, director of Psychology Department, executive director of Leadership Science Research Center, Renmin University of China, PhD supervisor, delivered a lecture entitled "Reflections on the local research of organizational behavior " in Room 516 of Yinfu Building on Mailu Campus on the morning of June 25. Some faculty members as well as postgraduates and PhD candidates attended the lecture. Professor Jie Yang, executive director of ISHRM, chaired the lecture.
    Professor Sun first introduced the emergence and evolution of the local study of organizational behavior, and mentioned the role played by social psychology and sociology, Hong Kong and Taiwan scholars, as well as the practice of India, South Africa, South America and northern Europe. Then he focused on several local organizational behavior fields, such as organizational citizenship behavior, guanxi, loyalty, paternalistic leadership, corporate culture, servant leadership, career success, etc. Professor Sun did not only made a specific analysis and review of the formation and related studies of the above concepts, but also deeply discussed local research paradigms, methods and thoughts. He believed that possible future directions may include the localization of research questions, research methods, concepts and logic. Finally, Professor Sun Jianmin pointed that it is our mission to "be open minded, be brave to explore, dare to question, carefully verify and continue to explore”. After the report, teachers and students spoke enthusiastically. Professor Sun answered the questions put forward by the teachers and students detailly and vividly. His lyrical and clear report left a deep impression on us.
    Professor Jie Yang gave a summary to the lecture by expressing his heartfelt thanks to Professor Sun Jianmin. This lecture deepened our understanding of organizational behavior and its related concepts, and triggered our thinking about local research. Professor Sun’s original ideas on the local study of organizational behavior greatly inspired and enlightened the teachers and students.
