From 27th to 28th November, JUFE PassedChinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation (CAMEA). The judge expertsarrived in JUFE, include Zhao Shuming, senior professor and honorary dean ofBusiness School of Nanjing University, Kuang Wanye, vice executive dean ofBusiness School of Macau City University, Yin Zhiwen, vice dean of ManagementSchool of Fudan University, Xue Lequn,former CEO of China Jiangsu InternationalCorporation, Han Tingting and Wang Haoming, staffs of Secretariat of CAMEACommittee. A total of 150 people attended the meeting, including Lu Fucai,president of JUFE, Liu Xiaoli, vice president of JUFE, members of MBA/EMBAQuality Assurance Committee, leads of School of Business Administration/EMBA EducationSchool, managers of EMBA/MBA Programs, students,faculties , alumnus and thedelegates from cooperative enterprises .
The first symposium was held in the morning of 27th November, in which president LuFucai, vice president Liu Xiaoli, Yuan Honglin, dean of Graduate School as wellas leaders of School of Business Administration/EMBA Education Schoolparticipated. On behalf of JUFE, firstly Lu Fucai expressed his warmly welcometo the experts. During his speech he pointed out that JUFE paid highlyattention to and positively support the CAMEA, and hoped that JUFE’s educational quality ofMBA/EMBA would be greatly improved during the process of accreditation.
Professor Hu Yuchen, dean of School of Business Administration made detailed report aboutthe school’s mission, vision planning, the overall structure of the assurancesystem, program features and the improvement of self-evaluation, etc.
Next,the judge experts communicated with the members of MBA/EMBA Quality AssuranceCommittee ,which includes Hu Yuchen – dean of School of Business Administration/EMBA EducationSchool, Zhang Weidong ,dean of Accounting School, Wang Yang ,dean of FinanceSchool, Mao Xiaobing ,dean of Information School, Yang Deming ,dean ofLaw School, Zou Yongwen , dean of School of Tourism and Urban Management, WuChaoyang ,vice dean of International trade school(chair work), Ning Liang ,vicedean of School of Business Administration, Wu Liangping , vice dean ofEMBA Education School and so on. They talked about the topics of teachermanagement, subjects’ integration and trainingeffects, etc.
The administrative team of MBA program led by Ning Liang, and administrative teamof EMBA program, leaded by Wu Liangping respectively reported the detailedinformation about the operation and administration of MBA/EMBA programs to the experts.
In the afternoon of 27th November, the judge experts read the relevant documents ofself-evaluation, and had a panel discussion with faculties from departments oflogistics, finance and some teachers of MBA/EMBA programs as well as thestudents.
On 28th November, the group of experts had the discussion with the delegates ofcooperative enterprises, the alumnus of MBA/EMBA, and attended classes ofMBA/EMBA .They also inspected the teaching facilities.
In the afternoon, the judge experts held a feedback meeting. Professor ZhaoJiaoming, on behalf of the group delivered a speech. He praised the teachingquality of JUFE, and confirmed that JUFE had the distinct school-runningfeatures and the complete teaching quality assurance system, unique teachingmethods combining theory with practice, well-performed case development. Aftervoting, the expert team accredited JUFE as “Excellent” rank. In the end, he put forward several proposals aimed at improving the program.
After the feedback session, president Lu Fucai made a speech to express thethankfulness to the expert team for their hard work and guarantee to optimizethe programs according to the feed back proposals.
From 2015 when JUFE carried out the preparatory work of CAMEA On-site Audit to thepresent, most procedures had been done. The final result will be determined bythe approval of the Conference of CAMEA Committee, which will be held on December 2017.
