TheSchool of Business Administration has successfully passed the BGAgold medal re accreditation in mainland China

OnSeptember 4th, the School of Business Administration received anofficial email from the Business Graduates Association (BGA) in theUK, notifying the school that it has successfully passed BGA recertification and has been granted the longest re certificationperiod of five years. The schoolhas also become the first institution in mainland China toindependently obtain BGA gold medal re certification, furtherconsolidating its position in the field of international businesseducation.

OnJune 23-24, a certification visit expert team appointed by BGAconducted a two-day on-site visit to the school.The certification expert group is chaired by Professor VenetaAndonova Zuleta, former Dean of the School of Management at theUniversity of Andes in Colombia. Professor Andrea Sianesi, formerPresident and Dean of the Management Research Institute atPolitecnico di Milano in Italy, Professor Wang Zhongming, Director ofthe Global Entrepreneurship Research Center at Zhejiang Universityand International Advisor for AMBA&BGA China Affairs, and Mr.Georgelliev,Director of Strategic and InnovationofAMBA&BGA Accreditation,participate as members of the group. Liu Yaobin, Secretary of theSchool Party Committee, Deng Hui, President, Li Chungen, VicePresident, as well as relevant department heads from the PartyOffice, School Office, Academic Affairs Office, Graduate School,International Cooperation and Exchange Office, attended theaccreditationmeeting and had discussions with the accreditationexpert group. All members of the School of Business Administrationteam, leaders of model majors and demonstration courses, relevantadministrative teachers, employers, alumni, student representatives,and members of the accreditationworking group participated in the on-site visit.

LiuYaobin welcomes and thanks the arrival of the accreditationexpert group. He pointed out that JUFEhas full confidence in passing the BGA gold medal re accreditation,and JUFEwill take the opinions and suggestions of the expert group as animportant basis to promote the continuous improvement of work qualityand efficiency, and achieve the goal of continuous improvement.

Duringthe meeting with experts, Deng Hui introduced the JUFE'seducational history and disciplinary construction, as well as thecentral ideas and strategic directions of the university’sfuture development plan. At the same time, he emphasized theoutstanding achievements of JUFEin international education and looked forward to strengtheningcooperation and exchanges with international organizations, includingBGA, to jointly promote the development of international education inthe university.

Duringthe visit, Hu Haibo, Dean of the School of Business Administration,delivered a keynote report on behalf of the schoolto the accreditationexpert group, elaborating on the school'sbasic situation, current development status, and five-year strategicplan for the future. Hu Haibo stated that under the guidance of theContinuous Influence (CIM) model, the schoolhas implemented the "5S Action Plan" for outstandingdevelopment in the future, continued to actively promote theconstruction of first-class disciplines, and improved the level ofeducation and social reputation from six dimensions, cultivating agroup of business talents that meet market demand for social andeconomic development.

Inthe subsequent accreditationprocess, the expert group visited teaching buildings, offices,laboratories and other facilities, and held special symposiums withfull-time facultyrepresentatives, employer representatives, MBA and undergraduatemodel major leaders, school and management administrative facultyrepresentatives, current students and alumni representatives.According to the BGA gold accreditationstandard, in-depth exchanges were conducted on the development ofdisciplines, talent cultivation, professional construction,scientific research, enrollment and employment, alumni relations,social responsibility and other aspects of the school.

Atthe accreditationfeedback meeting, the expert group fully affirmed the work andachievements of the universityand school,highly praised the talent cultivation and social service work of theschool,and also put forward targeted suggestions for the continuousimprovement of the school'sstrategy, faculty, curriculum, and other aspects.

Sinceobtaining the BGA Gold Accreditationfor the first time in February 2022, the School of BusinessAdministration has been guided by accreditationstandards, continuously optimizing its governance structure,deepening teaching reform, and expanding international resources. Ithas deeply integrated the BGA Continuous Impact Model (CIM) into theschool's "14th Five Year Plan" development plan. Over thepast three years, the schoolhas achieved remarkable results in high-quality business education,responsible management practices, and the construction of a lifelonglearning system, receiving widespread praise from all walks of life.

Thepassing of this re accreditationis a full affirmation of the school'slong-term commitment to high standard international education andcontinuous pursuit of excellence. It will also further promote theschool'snew journey to enhance its international influence and build ahigh-level business school.
