During the epidemic period, in order not to affect the smooth progress of doctoral degree application, the school of business administration, for the first time, carried out the pre defense work of doctoral dissertations in the way of online Tencent video conference for the first time, and became the first college to carry out the pre defense work of doctoral candidates by means of online video.
At 8:30 a.m. on March 9, 2020， the "cloud mode pre defense" was held as scheduled. Professor Hu Yuchen and Professor Hu Haibo of Jiangxi University of Finance and economics served as the chairman of the pre Defense Committee, and Professor Shu Hui, Professor Cai Wenzhu and Professor Yang Jianfeng served as members of the pre defense Committee.
Four doctoral students, Zhu Wanghai, Zhu Jiawei, Miao Ling and Peng Yuan, majoring in technical economy and management, participated in the pre defense of this dissertation.The whole process of the oral defense meeting was carried out in strict accordance with the pre defense procedures of Jiangxi University of Finance and economics. First, the chairman of the pre Defense Committee announced the beginning of the pre defense and introduced the members of the Defense Committee; secondly, the respondent introduced the main contents of the dissertation in PPT form according to the student number order; thirdly, the experts of the pre Defense Committee raised questions and gave suggestions for amendment; finally, the pre defense committee shall evaluate the thesis and defense of the respondent and vote on it.While fully affirming the research achievements of the four doctoral candidates, the Defense Committee put forward professional and specific problems and suggestions, which provided valuable opinions and suggestions for the later revision and improvement of the thesis and further research.
This pre defense is the first time that Tencent conference is adopted by the college, which is a test and challenge for both teachers and students. After active preparation before the meeting, teachers and students overcome the difficulties and complete the first "cloud pre defense" of doctoral dissertation of School of business administration with high quality.
