In the new journey of accelerating the construction of disciplines with Chinese characteristics and world-class standards, the School of Business Administration at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics takes "strict selection of entry points, refined cultivation process, and smooth exit" as the core, and constructs a comprehensive graduate training system that connects "selection cultivation output". This system deeply integrates academic frontiers with practical innovation, providing systematic support for cultivating high-level management talents.
Strict selection of entrance: Multi dimensional assessment builds a high foundation, academic training attracts outstanding talents
The school strictly controls the quality of students through the National Excellent school Student Summer Camp, and comprehensively selects students from various dimensions such as academic performance, research potential, and practical ability. By 2025, it will attract students from 126 universities to apply. After strict evaluation, 41 campers have stood out (selection rate of 32.5%). The summer camp aims to sail towards the deep blue of academia with management thinking as the sail, emphasizing systematic thinking and critical construction, while systematically showcasing disciplinary advantages, mentor teams, and award systems to strengthen cognitive recognition. Campers deeply participated in the design of cutting-edge topics such as "generative artificial intelligence" and "enterprise digital transformation", and went to Lidu Liquor Industry in Jiangxi to conduct immersive case studies, experiencing the integration of traditional skills and modern management innovation. Representatives of outstanding graduate students share their experiences in recommended postgraduate programs and integrated master's and doctoral programs, forming a chain effect of "mentoring" and laying the foundation for selecting high-quality students.
Intensive cultivation process: three-dimensional academic training, expanding international perspective
The school is building a multi-level academic ecosystem centered around the three pillars of "academic report meetings, sharing meetings, and doctoral student forums". Through the "Qingmiao Workshop", international scholars such as Professor Victor Cui from the University of Waterloo in Canada are invited to deepen their research abilities and focus on the pain points of academic paper writing: proposing a three element model of "hook tension mini summary" to innovate the introduction writing, and extracting research value through case analysis in top journals; By comparing positive and negative cases, we can solve the problem of the disconnect between theory and hypothesis, and teach the progressive construction method of "phenomenon → theory → hypothesis"; Provided one-on-one diagnosis and treatment for over 50 papers on parallel forums, covering multiple fields such as enterprise management and marketing. At the same time, we adhere to the dual track approach of local and international development - developing cases such as "Li Du Liquor Industry Iterative Innovation" and winning the "Ram Charan Management Practice Award", exporting Chinese management courses to the Korean K-MOOC platform, and undertaking the "Chinese Bridge" project to promote academic achievements serving rural revitalization and international cultural dissemination.
Smooth exit: dual track promotion of education and employment, with equal improvement in both quantity and quality of educational achievements
The school adopts the "teacher-student peer practice" three in one model to connect the channels of talent development. By 2025, the admission rate for the doctoral entrance examination will reach a new high, and 11 master's students will be admitted to prestigious universities such as Fudan University and Wuhan University; 10 people successfully joined national civil servants and public institutions; 5 people enter the banking system; 12 people signed contracts with state-owned enterprises; Many people have also been employed by listed companies such as Shenxin Technology Co., Ltd. and large private enterprises, with diverse employment opportunities and excellent quality.
