Recently, the professional institution of higher education evaluation,Shanghai Ranking Consultancy, released the 2021 “Ranking of World-Class Disciplines”.Three disciplines of our university including economics, management, computer science and engineering are on the list.Among them, management is ranked 401-500th in the world and 41-53th in China. The business administration discipline of our school is ranked 47th in the "Ranking of the Best Chinese Disciplines", with a ranking level of the top 20%, which is 15 places ahead comparing with the ranking 62nd in 2019.

The 2021 "Ranking of World-Class Disciplines" covers 54 disciplines, involving five major fields: science, engineering, life sciences, medicine and social sciences.More than 1,800 colleges and universities from 93 countries and regions appeared on the lists of various disciplines. The index system of "Ranking of China's Best Disciplines" includes five index categories: talent training, scientific research projects, award-winning achievements, academic papers, and high-end talents, using more than 50 quantitative indicators closely followed in discipline construction and management. The disciplinary caliber used is from the first-level discipline in the latest "Degree Awarding and Talent Cultivation Discipline Catalog" of the Ministry of Education.In each first-level discipline, the universities that rank in the top 50% of the discipline are published. Its latest list includes 96 first-level disciplines, involving tens of thousands of disciplines from nearly 500 universities.
