On the morning of November 12th, the opening ceremony of the 2018  (19^th graduation) JUFE—NYIT  Joint MBA Program was successfully held in the Qingshan report hall. Wang  Xiaoping - Vice President of JUFE, Louis Reinisch ,Vice President of the New  York Institute of Technology, Victoria Pfeiffer, Executive Director of the MBA  program of New York Institute of Technology, Scott Liu, Associate Dean of the  New York Institute of Management, Yuan Honglin, Dean of the Graduate School of  the University, Xiao Long, Director of the Office of International Cooperation  and Exchange, Hu Yuchen, Dean of the School of Business Administration and EMBA,  and Wu Liangping,CVice Dean of the School of Business Administration attended  the opening ceremony. Hu Yuchen presided over the ceremony, Then  it started officially in the solemn national anthem.

  On behalf of the JUFE, Wang Xiaoping  expressed warm welcome and sincere thanks to all the new students and guests. He  put forward a few pieces of expectations and suggestions to the new enrolled  students, he hoped that  they would fully distinguish postgraduate studying from  undergraduate by  posing questions, analyzing questions, and learning  problem-solving skills. Students should put emphasis on the integration of basic  theories and research, and would focus on the creative learning and researching  while continuously acquiring new knowledge.Being graduate students of Sino-US  cooperative program, it is necessary to actively and positively integrate into  the trend of globalization and strive to open up the international vision, it is  also important to understand the essential connotation of MBA education and  achieve the unity of knowing and doing, learning from others, being brave in  thinking and being diligent in practicing. deeply remembering the philosophy of  JUFE “Fidelity, Excellence, Integrity, and Perseverance”, studying hard and  working hard.

  Dr. Lou Reinisch pointed out in his  speech that the JUFE—NYIT Joint MBA Program is a long-term enterprise  tradition and prospective business education. He thanked school's support for  this cooperative project, and welcomed all new members. He introduced the basic  information of the New York Institute of Technology to the students, and  introduced the education features and achievements of the New York Institute of  Technology in the form of video to ensure that students would get a positive and  beneficial education experience. He expressed his expectation of working with  the students, and also suggested that the students should work hard, face the  challenges bravely and set the goal of success.

  In the speech, Liu Xianfang reviewed the  twists and turns of theJUFE—NYIT Joint MBA Program. He said that the  JUFE—NYIT Joint MBA Program was the most magnificent  chapter in his life. He expressed his affirmation and optimism about the  project, and his heartfelt gratitude to the leaders and colleagues who have  selflessly contributed to the success of the project.

  The new students of this year, Shi  Wenjiao, from Beijing Class and Cheng Tianhe, from Shanghai Class delivered  speeches on behalf of the new students. First of all, they expressed their  sincere thanks to JUFE for providing this learning opportunity and promised that  they are determined to make full efforts and progress under the delicate  guidance from high-level teachers on the superior platform built by both sides,  achieving the success finally.

  After that, Wang Xiaoping, LouReinisch,  Victoria Pfeiffer, Scott Liu, Yuan Honglin, and Xiao Long give flags to Shenzhen  class, Beijing class, and Shanghai class respectively. LouReinisch awarded  Chinese and American alumni.

  By the end of the opening ceremony, all  the guests and new Chinese and American students took a group photo.
