November 9 to 10，the 2nd International Conference on Management Change and Sustainable Development (MC&SD) was held in Mailu Campus, organized by School of Business Administration of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. The conference was supported by North American Case Research Association (NACRA), International Case Research Association (ICRA), Business School of Aalborg University in Denmark, Management Society of Jiangxi Province and Jiangxi Lidu Wine Co., Ltd.
Professor Liu Yaobin, the Party Secretary of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Professor Wang Shouyang from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, who is an academician of the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World, an academician of the International Academy of Systems and Control, a National Distinguished Young Scholar, Professor Chen Jin, the Director of the Research Center for Technological Innovation at Tsinghua University, a National Distinguished Young Scholar and a candidate of the National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talents Project in the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University, Professor Melanie Reed from Thompson Rivers University in Canada, the President of the North American Case Research Association (NACRA), Professor Qi Yudong, the Dean of the School of Economics and Business Administration at Beijing Normal University and a candidate of the National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talents Project, Professor Zhang Zhengang, the former Deputy Party Secretary of South China University of Technology and in the School of Business Administration, Professor Liqun Wei, the Editor-in-Chief of Asia Pacific Journal of Management (APJM), the Vice Chairman of the Asia Academy of Management (AAOM) in the School of Business Administration at Hong Kong Baptist University, Professor Zhaohui Wu from Oregon State University in the United States, the Associate Editor of Journal of Operations Management (JOM) and Journal of Supply Chain Management (JSCM), Professor Victor Cui, the Conrad Distinguished Research Chair Professor at the University of Waterloo in Canada, Professor OU Tang, the Associate Editor and Editor of International Journal of Production Economics (IJPE), the former President of the International Society of Inventory Research at Linköping University in Sweden, Researcher Yin Ximing, the Director of the Department of Public Administration and the Deputy Director of the Research Center for Science, Technology Innovation and Education Development Strategy at Beijing Institute of Technology, and Associate Professor Yang Cheng from Aalborg University in Denmark, the Associate Editor of Production Planning & Control (PPC) and Supply Chain Analytics (SCA), attended the conference. Professor William Wei, President of International Case Research Association (ICRA) and Dean of School of Business and Economics of University of Algoma, Canada, and Professor Yang Yang, Associate Editor of Annals of Tourism Research (ATR) and School of Tourism and Hospitality Management of Temple University, USA attended online. More than 300 experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, teachers and students representatives from more than 50 universities at home and abroad carried out a series of academic activities such as keynote reports, international case thematic forums, paper workshop forums and paper parallel forums around the theme of the conference "New Quality Productivity and Enterprise Digital Intelligence Innovation".
Opening of the conference, guest speeches
In his opening speech, Liu Yaobin expressed the school's intention to hold the conference with three sincere "hearts", namely: looking forward to the exchange and interaction of experts and scholars, enhancing friendship, thanking the participating experts for their "sincerity" in caring for and supporting the development of Jiang Cai's cause; Jiang Cairen worked hard to stick to the "initial heart" of opening Jiangxi higher financial education; Standing at the historical starting point of the second century, the school fully opened the "three start-ups", comprehensively seized the "three opportunities" of digitalization, internationalization and greening, accelerated the "three changes" of quality, efficiency and motivation, and comprehensively promoted the "confidence" of building a high-level research university, a first-class digital financial university and serving Jiangxi benchmark university. At the same time, Liu Yaobin pointed out that the School of Business Administration has a profound work foundation in China management thought, case study, international certification and other aspects, and has made certain achievements in innovation and reform, promoting sustainable development of enterprises, etc. He hoped to jointly promote the development of new quality productivity with all walks of life through this conference, carry out digital intelligence innovation project cooperation with well-known enterprises and research institutions at home and abroad, and continuously assist the reform, transformation and development of schools. Melanie Reed, on behalf of the North American Case Research Association (NACRA), congratulated the conference and pointed out that it is very important to discuss the change of enterprise management in the digital era. She hoped that professionals in academia and industry could exchange experiences and challenges in the process of enterprise digital transformation through this conference, provide innovative ideas and solutions for enterprise digital transformation, and work together to contribute wisdom and strength to global issues.

Keynote reports, innovative developments
The keynote report of this conference is divided into two parts, presided over by Yin Ximing and Tang Ou respectively.
Wang Shouyang analyzed the impact of artificial intelligence on social development, health care, management research and higher education, put forward eight research topics that need attention in the field of management research, and called on scholars to carry out cross-research between artificial intelligence and other disciplines to promote the development of disciplines and social progress.
Chen Jin analyzed the enterprise innovation in the new development stage of China, pointed out that the new quality productivity includes five innovation directions: scientific and technological innovation, industrial innovation, green productivity, system innovation and talent cultivation, and proposed that the basic logic of innovation paradigm is changing, enterprises are moving from main body to leading, emphasizing the leading role of users in the innovation process.
Starting from the characteristics of digital economy, Qi Yudong points out the essential connotation of digital economy different from industrial economy, and systematically expounds the process of enterprise digital transformation from the dimensions of strategic transformation, enterprise goal, property right mode, governance mode and market competition.
Victor Cui pointed out that globalization is undergoing a transformation of the underlying logic, and traditional business research faces new challenges and opportunities. He also looked forward to future research from the aspects of innovative inter-enterprise cooperation, global value chain strategy, strategic human resource management, etc.
Zhang Zhengang introduced the long-term achievements of his team in the innovation direction, put forward the dynamic mechanism and practical path of the integration and development of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, analyzed the enabling effect of new quality productivity on the modern industrial system, and discussed the promotion effect of intelligent science and technology on industrial transformation and upgrading in combination with practical cases.
Zhaohui Wu tries to develop local theory in supply chain research based on local practice in China through case analysis of gutter oil acquisition network formation, local government's role in building active network, and China technology and production network.
Hu Haibo introduced the latest achievements of the team. The research adopts qualitative meta-analysis method to analyze the situational elements and realization modes of platformization to promote the service-oriented transformation of manufacturing enterprises, and points out that there are four modes of platformization to promote the service-oriented transformation of manufacturing enterprises: "embedded", "connected", "interactive" and "mixed".
Yang Yang introduced the promotion effect of digitalization on tourism in an online way, pointed out the global connection effect of tourism platform, explained the specific application of technology acceptance model in tourism through the practical case of tourism digitalization, and analyzed the challenges and opportunities of tourism digitalization.
Parallel Forum, Chinese-Western Dialogue
At the same time, the conference held three major activities: international case thematic forum, English paper workshop and Chinese paper parallel forum.
Melanie Reed and William Wei were invited to share their views on Compact Cases. Melanie Reed shared her views on Compact Cases from the perspectives of what they are and why they are, and analyzed the differences between Compact Cases and Traditional Cases from the perspectives of case focus, learning objectives, case content, case level, teaching comparison content, and discussion questions.
William Wei shared his ongoing case study on the integration of multinational enterprises in emerging economies based on the theoretical perspective of M & A of China enterprises. The forum selected international teaching cases being developed by four teachers and exchanged views on the selection of China characteristic cases and international teaching case writing paradigms.
Liqun Wei and Victor Cui were invited to guide the English thesis workshop. Before the workshop began, Liqun Wei shared the submission and publication of APJM journals, appealed to more scholars to pay attention to and support APJM journals, and answered questions from teachers and students. The two professors proposed suggestions on the topic selection, theory selection, hypothesis proposal, data collection, journal selection, etc.
The conference also focused on digital transformation and new quality productivity, leadership and labor relations in the digital age, green innovation and sustainable development, innovation management and strategic change, intelligent manufacturing and high-quality development, digital human capital and behavior, artificial intelligence and human resources innovation, leadership and labor relations in the digital age, marketing innovation in the digital context, digital operation management and intelligent decision-making, digital intelligence supply chain innovation and sustainable development, Chinese papers parallel forums were held on 11 topics such as digital tourism and tourist behavior. The academic committee of the conference selected 134 papers according to the themes of submitted papers and reported them on the paper workshop forum and paper parallel forum.
Summarize experience and look forward to the future
After two rounds of anonymous evaluation by experts, 25 papers were selected. Professor Hu Haisheng, deputy dean of the School of Business Administration, presided over the closing ceremony. At the closing ceremony, guests presented awards to representatives who won excellent papers.
At the closing ceremony, Hu Haibo summarized the three characteristics of the conference: large scale, large number of guests and novel theme. The number of participants and papers submitted to the conference reached a record high. Participants discussed cutting-edge topics such as digital transformation, new productivity and green innovation, and established stronger ties. He looked forward to working with experts at home and abroad to jointly contribute China wisdom, China solutions and China power to enterprise digitalization and management innovation in the future.
From the professional perspectives of different fields and scholars, this conference shared the latest academic viewpoints and research achievements of new quality productivity and enterprise digital intelligence transformation, set up a platform for exchanges between scholars at home and abroad, and provided a new direction for the development of new quality productivity. The conference was also supported by 20 Chinese and English journals such as Nankai Management Review, Journal of Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management, Asia Pacific Journal of Management (APJM) and 5 publishing organizations such as Machinery Industry Press and Economic Management Press.
