On August 10, the School of Business Administration held a High-Quality Development Conference and a series of parallel forums with the theme of "Forty-five Years of Spectrum, New Quality Development and Creating the Future" in the North District of Mailu Campus to summarize the experience of school construction and development and explore the road of high-quality development of business education and business schools under the background of the new era. Nearly 300 people attended the conference, including leaders of superior units, school leaders, guest leaders who had worked in the school, representatives of sister schools and universities inside and outside the province, representatives of cooperative units, heads of some functional departments affiliated to the university, as well as representatives of some alumni associations of the school and alumni branches of the school.

Dr. Jerry Balentine, provost and executive vice president of NYIT, a partner institution of the MBA program, congratulated the conference via video. He said that 26 years ago, the two sides launched the joint MBA program between NYIT and Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. Lin Song, dean of the Business School of the Central University of Finance and Economics, praised the achievements made by the school in the past as a representative of sister schools. Hu Haibo, Dean of the School of Business Administration of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, made a report entitled "New Quality Education Co-Development, Excellent Business to the Future" at the conference. Wang Xuhui pointed out that "talent training can adapt to the changes of the times" is the biggest challenge posed by new quality productivity to business schools. New quality productivity accelerates the process of industrial integration, and also magnifies the imbalance and insufficiency between supply and demand between school employment and enterprise employment. It is urgent to cultivate "new quality talents" in an interdisciplinary way. Lin Song, dean of Business School of Central University of Finance and Economics, believes that the digital age has changed the bottom logic of enterprise management activities and brought challenges to the transformation of business courses, ability development and theory construction. Business schools should attract and cultivate digital talents meeting the needs of the times in the educational practice of "industry + commerce" and under the constraints of relevant resources.

Su Xin, dean of School of Business Administration of Shandong University of Finance and Economics, believes that in the era of digital intelligence, compound business talents who understand management, business, technology and thinking are needed. Business schools need to accelerate the cross-integration of disciplines and the construction of open platform by revising training schemes, reforming classroom teaching, optimizing curriculum system and promoting the integration of production and education.

Sun Yutao, Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Economics and Management of Dalian University of Technology, believes that the Business School is faced with challenges such as cold enrollment, confusion in positioning and doubt in value, as well as opportunities such as independent knowledge system, great practice of enterprises, new technologies and tools. Zhang Jianyu, dean of Business School of Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, compared the business education between China and the United States.
