The school has obtained 8 excellent cases, ranking first in the total number of similar items in the country

On September 8, 2023, the results of the 14th National 100 Excellent Management Cases (referred to as "100 Excellent Cases"), which was guided by the National Steering Committee of Graduate Education for Professional Degrees in Business Administration and sponsored by China Management Case Sharing Center, were officially announced. Among the 20 cases submitted by the school, 8 of them were successfully selected, ranking the first in the total number of awards of the same kind in national universities. It is worth mentioning that this year, four teachers of our school were awarded the "100 Excellent Cases" for the first time.

The "100 Excellent Cases" is the highest award in the field of national business administration cases, which has been continuously included in the index system of disciplinary assessment of the Ministry of Education and the index system of national professional degree level assessment, and has an important role in promoting the quality of talent training and the development of disciplines and specialties. This year's selection was launched on March 30 this year, and a total of 1,283 articles from 170 institutions across the country participated in the evaluation. After anonymous correspondence review and according to the principles of "no more than 7 short-listed cases in general projects, no more than 4 short-listed cases in micro-case special projects, and no more than 1 short-listed case per author per series (counted as the first author) in each institution", 276 cases were screened and submitted to the Expert Committee Meeting for evaluation, and the final selection was made as follows 120 cases from 68 institutions were selected as "100 Excellent Cases (General Programs)" and 44 cases from 31 institutions were selected as "100 Excellent Cases (Micro Cases)".

Over the years, the School of Business Administration has been carrying out organized and high-quality case development work, relying on excellent enterprises to carry out case teaching, and realizing the effective integration of the school's mission of educating people, enterprise brand enhancement and the social value of the business school. Adhering to the fundamental concept of "telling the story of China's management with cases", the school created the "Jiang Cai 5W Model" to empower the reform and innovation of professional degree graduate education, and won the second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award for Higher Education (Graduate Students), which is the first time for the school to win this award. This is also the first time for the university to win this award.

In 2013, the first case written by Professor Hu Haibo and the first case of our school with local enterprises in Jiangxi as the object of research was awarded the first 100-excellent case of colleges and universities in the province. 2022 At the end of the year, the school set up the third school-level case center in the country - Jiang Caike Liberal Arts and Sciences Case Center. Up to now, the school has accumulated a total of 46 100-excellent cases, of which more than 70% are aimed at local enterprises in Jiangxi. This year's batch of award-winning case results highlights another new progress in our school's case development work, which plays an important role in promoting the construction of the school's disciplines, especially case construction, and further consolidates the school's position as the first square in the field of case development in national colleges and universities.
