The School of Business Administration wins the AACSB Global Innovations That Inspire Program Award
On 17 April, AACSB(The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), the world's oldest and most comprehensive association of business schools, announced the list of the Global Innovations That Inspire programs in the 2023 Member Spotlight Programs. The School of Business Administration of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics is one of the 25 future-oriented global innovative business schools, which becomes the only school selected in China this year and the third Chinese school selected after the School of Business of East China University of Science and Technology (2017) and the School of Management of Fudan University (2022).
Now in its eighth year, AACSB's the Innovations That Inspire of the Member Spotlight Programs aims to highlight business school innovation initiatives, seeking examples of schools that are redefining the future of learning, leading, and connecting, paving the way to a re-energized value proposition for business education. The Industry-University Collaborative Education program of the School of Business Administration of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics was successfully selected this year, along with internationally renowned institutions such as the University of New South Wales in Australia and Carnegie Mellon University in the United States.
In recent years, the School of Business Administration of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics has been conforming to the national industrial development and talent demand, and promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. It has cooperated with Jiangxi Lidu Liquor Industry Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Jiminkexin Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Gaia Company and SAP, Cai Tong Group, Guangdong swire Coca-Cola company , Zhejiang Tailong Commercial Bank and other domestic famous enterprises to hold experimental classes of industry-university collaborative education, striving to build a "4+N" (4 undergraduate professional upgrading + N innovative experimental classes) education project to drive the upgrading of talent cultivation of the new business discipline. The Industry-University Collaborative Education project is not only a concrete measure to enhance the school's service to the local economic and social development, but also an important practice for the school and enterprises to jointly cultivate business talents with both theoretical foundation and practical management experience in the new era. Through the cooperation, the school and enterprises can give full play to their respective advantages, promote the integration of industry, academia and research, innovate the talent training mode, reserve high-end professionals, and at the same time provide graduates with opportunities for practical employment, scientific research, etc., so as to achieve the effect of “1+1>2”, and to promote the high-quality socio-economic development of Jiangxi.

Founded in 1916, AASCB (American International Association of Elite Business Schools) has become the most authoritative accreditation body in the field of management education since 1960, and is one of the three authoritative international accreditation systems for global business schools with EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) and AMBA/BGA (The Association of MBAs/Business Graduates Association). Among them, the AACSB business education accreditation standards are rigorous, ranking first in the world. AACSB-accredited business schools are favoured by top students around the world, and graduates from accredited institutions have broad career development prospects. The School of Business Administration of our university became a full member of AACSB in December 2019, passed the Single Unit Accreditation Application (UA) and Eligibility Application (EA) in November 2021 and February 2022, respectively, and is currently in the Initial Self-Evaluation Report (iSER) stage.
